Structure constants
Summary
The structure constants of an algebra over a field are the coefficients that express the product of two basis vectors in the basis. By bilinearity they determine the whole multiplication. They turn questions about an abstract algebra into computations with numbers, and they are the usual way to write down Lie algebras in physics. Under a change of basis they transform as a tensor with two lower indices and one upper index.
