Ultrafilter
Summary
An ultrafilter on a set is a filter on that is maximal: no strictly larger filter on exists. Equivalently, for every subset of , either or its complement belongs to it. Every filter lies in an ultrafilter, by Zorn's lemma. Ultrafilters describe compactness, build the Stone–Čech compactification, and give ultraproducts in logic.

- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
