Quantum theory Symmetries, angular momentum and identical particles Concept
Creation and annihilation operators
Summary
Creation and annihilation operators act on the Fock space of a system of identical particles. A creation operator adds one particle in the one-particle state , and the annihilation operator , its adjoint, removes one. For bosons they satisfy canonical commutation relations, and for fermions the canonical anticommutation relations. Every operator of a many-particle system can be written with them, which is the language of second quantization and of quantum field theory.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
