Residuated mapping
Definition
Let and be partially ordered sets. A map is residuated when, for each , the preimage is a principal down-set of , for some . Here is the principal down-set of .
Remarks
A residuated map is monotone. A map is residuated if and only if there is a map with for all and . Then is the greatest element of , and is called the residual of . For an integer , the map on is residuated with residual , since if and only if . The map with for and for is monotone but not residuated. Indeed has no greatest element, so it is not a principal down-set.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
