Tensor field
Summary
A tensor field on a smooth manifold assigns to each point a tensor built from the tangent space and its dual. The assignment varies smoothly with the point. Vector fields, differential forms, Riemannian metrics and curvature tensors are all tensor fields. Tensor fields are the basic objects of differential geometry, because their meaning does not depend on the choice of coordinates.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
