Brillouin zone
Summary
The (first) Brillouin zone of a crystal is a region of wave vectors around the origin. It contains the points at least as close to the origin as to any other point of the reciprocal lattice. It is the Voronoi cell of the origin in the reciprocal lattice. Its translates by the reciprocal lattice tile wave-vector space, so every wave vector is equivalent to one in the zone. Band structures, Fermi surfaces and phonon spectra are drawn over the Brillouin zone.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
