Statement
Let and be sequences of positive real numbers. For each put
Remarks
For part 1, multiply by to get for . Summing from to telescopes, so , and the partial sums are bounded. For part 2, the sequence increases from on, so , and the comparison test with gives divergence. The choice gives the ratio test, the choice gives Raabe's test, and the choice gives Bertrand's test.

For a student
When the ratio test gives the limit , one uses Kummer's test with weights that grow, such as or . Each such choice gives a finer test: Raabe's test catches the -series, and Bertrand's test catches series like . The proof only uses telescoping sums and the comparison test.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
