Reachability

Definition

Let GG be a graph and let u,vu, v be vertices of GG. The vertex vv is reachable from uu if there is a walk in GG from uu to vv.

Remarks

Reachability is an equivalence relation on the vertices. It is reflexive by the walk of length 00, symmetric by reversal of a walk, and transitive by concatenation. Its equivalence classes are the connected components of GG. For a directed graph, reachability along arcs is reflexive and transitive, but in general it is not symmetric.

Explanations

L1 human

A vertex is reachable from another one when you can go from the first to the second along edges. On a map of islands with bridges, two places are reachable from each other when they are on islands linked by bridges.

What this node needs for W1
  • an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)

The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.

What this needs

To read this node, read these 3 nodes in this order. The foundations come first, and the list ends with this node.

Each node uses the nodes above it. The colour of the bar on a box shows the evidence level, and the box also gives it as text. The list below has the same nodes.

What depends on this

23 nodes use this node, directly or through other nodes.
