Angular acceleration
Builds on Angular velocityAcceleration
Summary
Angular acceleration is the rate of change of angular velocity with respect to time. It plays for rotation the part that acceleration plays for straight motion. For a rigid body turning about a fixed axis, torque equals moment of inertia times angular acceleration.
