Matrix
Definition
Let be a ring, for example a field, and let be integers. An matrix over is a family of elements , indexed by the pairs with and . The element is the entry of in row and column . The notation for is a rectangular array with rows and columns: The set of all matrices over is written or .
Remarks
Two matrices are equal when they have the same size and the same entries in each position. A matrix is a row vector, and an matrix is a column vector. Mathlib uses arbitrary finite index types in place of and .

A matrix is a table of numbers with a fixed number of rows and columns. The matrix has 2 rows and 3 columns, so it is a matrix. We name an entry by its row first and then its column.
What this node needs for W2
- edge not_instance_of in: one non-example that fails one clause (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
