Perfect fluid
Summary
A perfect fluid is a model of matter that has, in its own rest frame, an energy density and an isotropic pressure. It has no viscosity, shear stress or heat flow. Its stress–energy tensor is determined by the density, the pressure and the four-velocity of the fluid. Perfect fluids model the interiors of stars, the matter and radiation in cosmology, and many exact solutions of the Einstein equations.
