Pointwise convergence
Definition
Let be a set, and let for and be functions. The sequence converges pointwise to on if for every . That is, for every and every there is with for all .
Remarks
Here may depend on both and .
The pointwise limit is unique, since limits of real sequences are unique.
A pointwise limit of continuous functions need not be continuous: see the sequence . Mathlib expresses pointwise convergence as convergence in the product topology, through tendsto_pi_nhds.
Explanations

Pointwise convergence means that at each single point, the values approach . Different points may converge at very different speeds.
What this node needs for W2
- edge instance_of in: one example (0 of 1)
- edge not_instance_of in: one non-example that fails one clause (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
