Thermal conduction
Summary
Thermal conduction is the transfer of heat inside a body, or between bodies in contact, without any bulk motion of matter. It is driven by differences of temperature, and heat flows from hot to cold. In most materials it obeys Fourier's law, and together with conservation of energy this leads to the heat equation. It is one of the three modes of heat transfer, with convection and radiation.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
