Eigenvector
Definition
Let be a field, let be a vector space over , let be an endomorphism, and let . An eigenvector of for is a vector with and . Then is an eigenvalue of .
Remarks
Each nonzero multiple of an eigenvector is again an eigenvector for the same eigenvalue. For , the vector is an eigenvector for , because . The zero vector is never an eigenvector, by convention.
Explanations

An eigenvector keeps its line under the map: the map only stretches it, shrinks it or flips it. The stretch factor is the eigenvalue. Consider a reflection of the plane in a line. The vectors on the line are eigenvectors for , and the vectors perpendicular to it are eigenvectors for .
What this node needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a node is. They do not measure its truth.
