de Branges space
Definition
Let be the upper half-plane. For an entire function let , which is again entire. Let be an entire function such that for all . The de Branges space is the set of entire functions such that
- belongs to the Hardy space , and
- belongs to ,
with the inner product
Remarks
is a Hilbert space and a reproducing kernel Hilbert space. For the reproducing kernel is so that for all . The condition on implies that has no zeros in , so condition 1 makes sense.
Example: with . For with one has . Here , and the kernel becomes . is the Paley–Wiener space of entire functions of exponential type at most that are square integrable on .
Non-example: gives , so the strict inequality fails and does not define a de Branges space.

What this page needs for W1
- an inventory row: the row of the inventory that the node accounts for (0 of 1)
- a source with a locator (0 of 1)
The writing levels say how complete the text of a page is. They do not measure its truth.
